i am an illustrator and painter living in long beach, california, and have been creating art and design for

25 years. i spent summers at the art center college of design while earning a bfa in painting from

concordia university in montréal, and was owner of a children’s bedding design business, ellabalou.

i have designed graphics, textiles and illustration and am drawn to work that is fresh, clean and

whimsical. i am equally compelled by color, perspective and surface texture; my own and that of

other artists. i am mom to my daughter maya and dogs molly & piper, and spend my time away from

the studio in pursuit of perfect coffee, coats & chairs, practicing yoga, and foraging thrift shops

and junk yards in search of hidden treasure.
